The Story of Salvation; Joshua (part 2)

By Charles Johnston:

In my previous post (The Story of Salvation; Joshua part 1) we looked at Joshua’s life leading up until he arrived at Jericho. It is in Jericho that Joshua would gain his ultimate victory. If you ask any Christian, or Jew, what Joshua is known for they would most likely say  it’s for conquering Jericho. Although he had an eventful life up until this point, and had won some impressive victories, I’d have to agree, because Jericho wasn’t just another military victory. The Story of Salvation; Joshua (part 1)

By Charles Johnston:

In an earlier post in this series (Intel Report ) I wrote about Joshua as a supporting character, now is his time to step up to the main stage.

The story of Moses is a well known one, probably one of the most well known stories in the entire Old Testament. Ask anyone about Moses and they’ll know a general outline overview of his life, even non believers.  Continue reading “The Story of Salvation; Moses “

The Story of Salvation; Joseph

By Charles Johnston:

The story of Joseph begins in the land of Paddan-aram, but he is only mentioned as being born in chapter 30. His story doesn’t start in earnest until chapter 37 of Genesis, at this point his story is the primary focus for the rest of the book. Continue reading “The Story of Salvation; Joseph “
